El
Bahia is the only authentic Moroccan restaurant in Dublin and
indeed
Ireland.
El
Bahia is ideally situated in a quite but lively part of Dublin
city centre at the corner of Wicklow St and Clarendon
St.
The restaurant's
entrance is adjacent to Brown Thomas Car Park.
The
entrance is somwhat modest but the small door leads you directly
to the first floor where
you find yourself transported from the
noises
of a busy city centre to this oasis where the decor, the music
and especially the food create an authentic Moroccan atmosphere
reminisent
of Marrakesh...
The
restaurant is made of four dining rooms. Each room is decorated
differently and caters for different number of customers,
making it ideal for private parties whether they are social events
or business functions. When booking customers
can request the room of their choice. For more information please
do not hesitate to contact the restaurant.
Our
authentic Moroccan food reflects the multiple races and cultures
that have lived and ruled Morocco at different stages of its
history and
that of the Moorish Empire, itself so diverse in its ethnic communities.
Mediterrean, Arabic, European and African countries were all
part
of the Moorish Empire.
El
Bahia is the only truly authentic Moroccan Restaurant ever to be
in Ireland and is owned and ran by a Moroccan family. So far
the response
from Irish people and the Irish media has been far greater than
this
Moroccan family ever expected.
